It was in college that I understood myself as a black woman. When I was looking for an internship, I passed several exams, but I always failed interviews. One day, the course coordinator told me: “The problem is that your hair is too full, you have to use it differently. And you are also very colorful, you have to be more within a pattern”. At the time, I didn't even understand. I told my uncle and he was very angry, but I asked him to let it go.
